Crop Insurance

Federal Crop Insurance

Sanders & Associates regularly represents Approved Insurance Providers (known as AIPs) and other participants in the Federal Crop Insurance Program, and also provides neutral arbitrator services for parties to crop insurance disputes. We welcome inquiries from those who need assistance with a crop insurance coverage, claim, or compliance dispute.

Since 1996, we have served as outside litigation counsel for one of the larger AIPs, representing them in claim and underwriting investigations and disputes, arbitrations and lawsuits, agency-company contracting matters, and federal and state regulatory compliance concerns. We have handled crop insurance matters for several AIPs in more than 25 states.

Federal crop insurance is overseen by the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation, which is administered by the USDA Risk Management Agency.

See the RMA and Crop Insurance in America web sites for more details about the Federal Crop Insurance program.

Crop-Hail and Other Non-Federal Agricultural Insurance

Certain types of crop insurance coverage are not regulated or reinsured by the federal government. We assist our insurance company clients in resolving disputes concerning crop-hail policies and other forms of agricultural insurance.  See the Crop Insurance in America web site for more information about crop-hail coverage.
